Eric visits Cory's class to give a talk on peer pressure. He shares that, next year when they move into seventh grade, there will be a large population of kids they have never met before who may think differently from them. Eric warns them that they may be pressured by their peers to make poor decisions.

When Double D's slip-ups cause people to think he's a bully, Jimmy devises a plan to help Double D prove his innocence and remove his stigma. Double D also illustrates his belief that he is the focus of everyone's attention. While this clip shows all of the cul-de-sac kids watching him, the kids don't necessarily represent everyone at the school.

On a family trip to Cuba, Grampa Simpson becomes depressed and unwilling to partake in activities. He cheers up when he spots an old American car from his times and goes for a ride in it with a native Cuban. Both during and after the ride, Grampa feels reinvigorated and connected with his youth. The Cuban resident references a study conducted by Ellen Langer in which seniors felt young again once exposed to objects from their youth.
