This clip illustrates Ice Bear's origin story. While hunting one day, Ice Bear comes across a tent with some food. The human who owns the tent, Yuri, attempts to harm Ice Bear but ends up taking him in to do chores in exchange for food. One day, Ice Bear angers Yuri by accidentally causing him to break a precious photo, and Yuri kicks Ice Bear out of the tent. Ice Bear later gets stuck in a bear trap and is in peril when Yuri comes to his rescue.

After successfully sprouting a sapling, Captain McCrea thinks about going back to Earth. The Axiom shows him a video in which the captain at the time advises leaving Earth because the environment is too toxic to support human life. Since it has been 700 years since the video was made, Captain McCrea is determined to visit Earth since it is the humans' home planet.

This clip describes Matilda's upbringing and how she was mostly neglected by her parents. It also illustrates that she is precocious, as she learned how to take care of herself at a very young age.

Baymax introduces himself to Hiro after he drops something on his toe and cries out in pain. Baymax responded to the sound of distress and attempts to help Hiro feel better. Hiro pushes Baymax off, but Baymax persists in his attempts to help.
